Illustrates their progression and I'd imagine provides motivation.

I'm not "hating" on anything... it's like you guys are still in school or something, are you? Minor criticism shouldn't be so hard to handle. The guy who posted them originally (who I assume is involved with the rankings) just posted a reasonable response and although I disagree for many reasons there we go... it's not important.
