It's a tough weight class. Lots of guys are at a level where they could make the same argument. I do think that if Lombard beats Stann it shouldn't automatically mean a title shot for him.
I don't blame him but at the same time, I can see it from the UFCs point of view too. They always struggle to present Silva with a credible threat. They're basically just planning on doing what they did with Belfort.

Why should Bisping get a title shot? He lost to Sonnen and automatically deserves a number one contenders match up? Yet Stann loses to Sonnen and then comes off a devastating win in his next bout, he deserves it long before Bispings name even gets mentioned.

To be fair, Sonnen destroyed Stann whereas Bisping handled him for large parts of the fight and lost a very close decision. Stann won his next in impressive fashion but let's be honest, that was against a guy whos last win was two years ago and would be lucky to be considered top 20 let alone top 10.
I can completely understand Lombard being put forward but Stann/Anderson would be an exercise in utter comedy.
