Whether or not some people thought he won the fight he didn't, he lost. What I'm saying is Stann is coming off a win and Bisping is coming off a loss. Bisping doesn't stand a chance with Silva anyways and Sonnen does.

In regards to beating certain fighters, Bisping has never beaten a top 5 guy and isn't there himself. Everytime he fights a top guy he loses, Rashad, Hendo, Sonnen even Wanderlei who isn't even ranked in the top 15.

and Stann is arguably not top 5 and therefore not an adequate stepping stone to a title shot, Bisping always gets given the toughest possible challenge, I think that is what he is saying, and arguably won his last one against Sonnen, something Stann was a million miles away from doing..!

Well fair enough, I'll take that. In which case I say call Bisping vs Andy Wang next and if he wins he gets the next title shot.

I think you could very well ad Belcher to the list of guys who might be in with a a title shot now. It's not always about who's the most deserving. In the UFC it's more about what match ups will draw the PPV's.

Lol at "I’ve been knocking out the best fighters in the world". Let's take a look at who he's finished in the UFC:

    Josh Haynes
    Eric Schafer
    Elvis Sinosic
    Charles McCarthy
    Jason Day
    Denis Kang
    Jorge Rivera
    Mayhem Miller

Looks like a list of Bellator quality MWs to me.

He probably means because they are in the UFC they are of a higher calibre than what Lombard has been facing. I'm inclined to agree.

his list of wins is maybe a little anonymous but that division needs an interesting challenger.. if lombard can come as a champion from another organisation and beat stann, then that's a nice little storyline to sell the fight... his big KO power makes the fight really interesting

and tbh i'd have Jesse Taylor beating most guys on that list, Shlemenko probably beating them all. there's a few UFC vet's on his record.. sure they're not there anymore but in 1-2 fights time the only win on bisping's record that'll still be in the UFC is Leben (akiyama, dan miller and mayhem are all on the cusp of being cut) so i don't think his criticisms are really fair
The mind of the believer stagnates. It fails to grow outward into an unlimited, infinite universe.

Yeah it's funny. Before the fights pretty much every one of these guys were going to wreck the mouthy brit. Yet when he smashes them, they're forever considered worthless cans. Bisping = Career wrecking ball.

    well...

Their records at that time were 125 wins to 52 loses, now the fighters he finished are 139 -78, making that a 14-26 difference, so yeah they have been on decline but not that much, however you have a 40 year old Rivera, an elvis sinosic who only ever had 1 good career win, a Jason Miller who should go back to MTV.

Sinosic and McCarthy retired but lets be fair its not as if they were a huge impact on the UFC anyway

The best opponent on that list is Dennis Kang who after what happened to his girlfriend has never been the same.

If Lombard had to fight Bisping, my money would be on Lombard.

All irrelevant because Stann is going to spark Lombard.

I am sick and tired of fighters coming in from sub par organisations with a great record and then being exposed as nowhere near as good as their padded record suggests. Lombard has beaten NOBODY. There is not an impressive name on his resume and he will be exposed just like the rest.

Remember Jorge Santiago? No, me neither
