    Default Arguments

"I don't believe in argument,"I think people overvalue argument because they like to hear themselves talk."

"It's comforting, I suppose. Most people are not prepared to have their minds changed. And I think they know in their hearts that other people are just the same, and one of the reasons people become angry when they argue is that they realize just that, as they trot out their excuses."

"I strongly suspect the things people believe in are usually just what they instinctively feel is right; the excuses, the justifications, the things you're supposed to argue about, come later. They're the least important part of the belief. That's why you can destroy them, win an argument, prove the other person wrong, and still they believe what they did in the first place."

When an argument reaches a certain point I don't get angry, I just agree with everything the other person says. I do it in a very sarcastic way though so it really winds people up. "Aye, of course it is" "Aye, you know best" are a few of my favourite weapons.

Its a good skill to have to know when a talk or "argument" isn't going anywhere. There are none so blind as those that will not see.

If you get angry during an argument think about why you are getting angry.

    Argument ends with T.
I am number 1, because Picard says so.
