This might be a dumb question but when it says up to welterweights, would you have to actually be 77 kilos at the trials?

No mate u can just be at your walkin round weight. For the last trails at lightweight i was 184 when they first weighed me (the all you can eat breakies that i had in vegas didnt help) but they said thats fine. But they check up on if youve fought in that weight class etc.

They do not weigh you on the day. They look at ur record.

Yes they do weigh you on the day of the trail, but they also check you record for what weight you've competed at..

I think Zorba maybe move ommac back a week or 2, but its a tough call, the opportunity for alot of the ommac fighters is just too good to pass on
