Yeah he probably expected me to make it into a super success, but like I said to him, I'm not a promoter, I saved him 75% on his last show and lowered all his costs and the huge cost of the venue and left the promotion down to him, I came back from 2 trips to Vegas a week or two before the show and ticket sales were not great, I said he should get rid of some flashy stuff, loads of ring girls and expensive camera crew but he didn't want to listen, pre sales were ok but was not going to cover the cost so it was down to on the door sales, they were ok but left a 5k defecit, which I rightly assumed he would pay no problem as he paid the last show of 20 grand he said.
There was 300 people there so another 200 and he would of made money and would of paid everyone, cause he didn't he didn't pay, and never returned to mma again. He now boxes.
He just wanted guidance in general and help with costs, which I did. I was happy to have my fighters fighting on the show, so I saw it as a win win as I love mma, it was fun til he ran off at the end of the night...
