I have been told by a source within the UFC that it's strictly invited fighters that can attend. No Press, no managers and no coaches or pad guys!

That doesnt sound very clever, all fighters have coaches that train and corner them to get the best from them, dont they want to see each fighter at his best? And if they are signing contracts, surely they dont expect fighters to do that without their manager present?

I know it's not great, I'm still going anyway. If I get turned away then so be it!

I am guessing that they will ask other fighters to hold pads for them and the ones that do get through then the managers etc would be contacted if anything needed to be signed. This was re-confirmed last night by the guy who is responsible for the logistics and application process at TUF

Guy's need to seperate themselves from the obvious though and be creative with it. On the other hand guys that blend in don't get noticed either. This is why they don't always go for the best, it's for TV the end of the day and they want the ratings

I saw an old video blog where fighters were eachothers pad men, it might give you some idea:

So have the English trials changed to open, I was told by someone that you can just turn up with your application on the day, don't know how true this is but it came from a reliable enough source, reliable enough that I don't have any reason to doubt him, anybody know???
