Default Nogi Invitational Comp (with prize money) and open entry comp - 15th JULY, CARMARTHEN

Chris Rees and me are gonna run a nogi invitational comp during a fitness expo in Carmarthen on 15th July.

It will have 600 prize money and travel expenses covered (subject to agreement beforehand). It's openweight, 8 man and rules pretty much like the Rickson Budo Challenge, so 1 point for a positional control and 3 points for a submission attempt (full rules will be confirmed tomorrow). All submissions will be legal.

Please get in touch if you're interested or know anyone who would be.

The open entry comp will have the same rules but no heelhooks or neck cranks and for novice division only; no toe holds or kneebars. IBJJF nogi weight limits, under and over 2 year experience divisions and limited entries. Online entry will be up tomorrow

Unfortunately this comp has had very low entry numbers. We will aim to give all competitors as many fights as possible, you will be able to fight in multiple categories (weight, absolute, combined experience absolutes etc...) and divisions may be run as round-robins/leagues etc. Those who have entered will get fights for sure

There will also be on the day entry for anyone who wants to turn up and have a go. Be there by 9.30am if you want to register on the day!
