Been trying to contact protec to get a quote for kitting out a gym (cage walls, mat cover and wall boards) but getting no reply are these guys still trading?
Any one used any other companies?

I'm pretty sure I've heard some horror stories about protec mate

I might add my previous recommendation was a few years ago! Website has been updated though. I always found middle of the day was a better time to call them.*
*I take no responsibility for my recommendations, unless they're masterful in which case I only take a 5% finders fee
If you look on their website just contact some of the gym's in the pictures for advice on if they found them ok, can see Ippon gym (jeff lawson) and sure google will find the rest for you
Thanks man, was going to use protec as ive seen some of there work and it looks really good. Also they seem to be one of the only companies that does whole gym fits.
After them not replying to my emails though think il just use different companies and get the cage walling and mat covers done seperately.
If a company doesn`t call you back when you`re trying to buy something, imagine trying to get a call back if you were complaining?

Check with Marc Goddard which company he used - it may have been protech - he was very unhappy with the results. It's definitely one of the companies in the Liverpool/Manchester area. They have a very poor track record - some of the work they have done that I have seen has been appalling, cheap carpet underlay with baggy plastic canvas over as "matting" etc. It is probably more cost effective to source individual bits from better quality suppliers even if it's a pain.

Hahahaha lol Cage Solutions or as I liked to call them Cage Problems. A guy called Martin Milward. Me and Graham had more than one discussion surrounding the clusterfuck of a company they were.
They don't do gyms no more.
I have no direct experience or had any involvement with Protec so cannot comment.
James - my advice go it alone, you will save yourself much more money. And sanity. Sourcing the raw products is not that hard but I can understand the ball ache of fabricating/making. You should try the guys at GMatt - James has always been reliable for me.
