but he might choose to carry him to ensure the full dental procedure is carried out.

I have to agree with you on every point there. I think he could carry sonnen. he may even plan to. But i don't think he will have the zen for it. Just a hunch but i recon he will go for the kill as soon as he rocks him (sometime in the second round i hope).

Also, since i am such a nugget noobie with on line betting. I have accidentally placed a tenner on chael to win in the 5th lol .... at 25/1! So yea, it would be interesting if he does win. But i sure hope I loose all my money on both bets and Silva beats him into a humiliated living death for 5 rounds. :-) ... think i might cover that eventuality too actually.

sonnen has finished one opponent in 5 years, if he wins by KO i'll eat my hat... his last fight was less than stellar, i think he'll get owned, maybe after some takedowns and top control, but it'll come eventually

Sonnen is a cheap opportunist, a used car salesman. He has had a poor career and its never gonna get better than this. He has his opportunity last time and he made the most of it and silva came out with dana on his back, forced to scrap and with the idea that he would submit sonnen for the nog bro's. So he did both but it played right into motor mouths hands.... a rematch and two years to talk shit and build it into the biggest pay day a chump ever had. After the dust has settled people (knuckle-heads) in america will be wondering around with the face of the most over rated fighter the ufc ever sold on their t-shirts trying to figure out where it all went wrong. Anyone noticed how he is lining up Wanderlei as his next opponent? Thats his exit strategy. He will try and sell that one after Anderson beats him.

Yea but still, he hasn't been in with Silva.... odds for a silva KO are 5/4. After watching the last Sonnen/Silva fight, do you really think Silva couldn't KO him? He wasn't striking like his usual clinical self, he was leading with wild kicks to the body and stuff like that, and he never even tried to settled down to control the distance. My conclusion was that he didnt really care about getting taken down because thats where he wanted to win it, and in the meantime he was giving Dana what Dana wanted to see. I think that Silva can control the distance against Sonnen (at least thats what i am betting on) and i think he might even take a note of Bispings success against the cage and smash Sonnen a bit from the clinch. No doubt Sonnen will be super charged again. What will happen if he tests his allowed ratio again?
