Yes he did about 5 bouts inc 2-3 on the main card of the Notts one as well as 2 he has done in Brazil now. They seem to like him and I reckon the guys who run the UFC know a thing or two about MMA

Reza Madadi was declared the loser in the first fight of UFC 153 in Rio. Madadi was facing Brazilian Cristiano Marcello, and the verdict by the judges differed than almost every fan and those in the media… and MMA Viking.com staff and those in the Swedish Media. While “robbery” may be a bit extreme, a score card of 30-27 against the fighter from Sweden was irresponsible judging (shame on you – UK judge Aaron Chatfield). Another judge giving the fight to Madadi also?

The overwhelming result is that Madadi won round 1 and round 2, while Marcello won round 3. This is a scorecard of 29-28 Madadi. Out of the 19 scorecards above, only 2 people gave Marcello round 1, and those were official judges for the bout. Did Madadi get robbed? This research would indicate that the scorecards where different than everyone in the media scoring the bout.

I appreciate all of the above and as much as I enjoy your arguments Sengoku, all those websites have fuck all to do with the result. Bottom line is Aaron wasn't the only judge to score the fight for Marcello... Yes he scored it 30-27 but even if he'd dropped a round to Madadi it would have still be 29-28 and Marcello still would have won. Judging is perceptions from the angles given, there's nothing you can do but call it as you see it and since then the UFC have had him back so they musn't have a problem with it.

What are the qualifications and experience of al the websites scoring the fight? Most fans I encounter couldnt score a fight properly if their life depended on it.
Most think taking somebody down in a round means that round is won regardless of strikes.

That was the only fight I missed but I am going to watch it again and score it as I see it because at this point it really would not surprise me if Chatfield is correct to the letter of the law and others/majority are wrong.

It would however surprise me if that was the case and nobody agreed with it because they do not know what they are talking about when it comes to scoring fights.
