I find it amusing some people can be so obsessed with hating someone they've never met.

Bispings a good fighter, he's never ducked anyone and on another day with different judges he may well have wins over Wanderlei, Sonnen and Rashad, he has at least pushed them to the limit, he's only been dropped once and that was by another legend in Hendo, not bad for a shit fighter.
No he shouldn't have a title shot, no he's not a top 3 guy nor likely will be, no he hasn't got one punch power or dangerous jits. But he's still a talented all round fighter, he works hard, goes into fights with good tactics and cardio and grinds of effective wins. He's been winning in the UFC for a long time, whilst his haters hark back to him not beating top 10 guys, it's also worth remembering the only people who've managed to beat him in a long UFC career have been top 5 guys or legends.
He's an honest fighters who makes the most of his abilities, a tough durable guy and he deserves respect as a fighter.
He won't beat Anderson, obviously, but noone can beat Anderson.

With regards to the title shot, I'd give Belfort Weidman and the winner gets Anderson.
I still think Vitor can beat Silva, he hadn't fought for 2 years when they last met, it's his only loss in his last 8 fights and he's beaten some top names, think he's one win away from deserving another shot. Weidman also, imo, is a good win away from really deserving a shot.

Yes Vitor could beat Anderson, I think Chael would beat him if he gets another crack, also Hector Lombard

He got dropped by Wanderlei. He go KTFO by Hendo

Depends how long Vitor will be recovering, I think Weidman should get it, and I also think Weidman could beat Silva.

Let bisping have a go at weidman then and the winner can get Anderson after he fights Lombard which i think he will if lombard gets the win. Fuck belfort, anderson would tool him again, he's had his shot. Belfort might move to 205 anyways.
    Fuck no-gi

Yes but look at who he beats in impressive fashion....Massenzio, Branch, Drwzal etc. When he faces higher levels guys he either loses (Marquardt, Hendo, Belcher) or wins but in a less impressive fashion (Horn, Miller).

And now you're comparing all of Palhares's opponents to only Bisping's wins? Why not include all of Bisping's opponents to make it a fair comparison? Or you could just compare Palhares's wins to Bisping's and you'd see they don't look all that different...

And I'm not even a Bisping fan before you start trying the 'fanboy' claims, I just think he's underrated as a fighter because people don't like him.

No your post was comparing Belcher's opponent (Palhares) to Bisping's then opponent (Boetsch). We merely pointed out that Boetsch is higher in the pecking order than Palhares....you then tried to deflect that by changing the subject to 'who has Bisping beaten?' and comparing Palhares to Bisping....which isn't even what anyone was talking about.

The way I see it is Chris Weidman is number one contender for 3 reasons...

    1. When he beat Damien Maia, Maia was ranked 5th.
    2. When he beat Mark Munoz, Munoz was ranked 3rd.
    3. Chael Sonnen who's ranked 2nd, just got owned.

Therefore, Weidman deserves the fight. Not Vitor, not Bisping not anyone deserves one ahead of him.

he's only had 9 fights. maybe he should have another 2-3 before he gets the shot.

weidman looks like a mini cain velasquez, if sonnen had more powerful gnp he wouldv put anderson away, weidman looks to have dynamite in his fists

Remind me again, what record did Cain Valesquez have when he became Champion? Pretty sure it was 9-0 dude, I know what you're saying.

That's not a viable excuse I don't think, he definitely deserves it imo.

i didn't set that fight up, or endorse it. getting a shot at the ufc title with less than 10 fights is nuts, even if you have a sword/willy tattooed on your chest.
