Default Griphouse Interclub Sunday 29th July?

I've only just heard about this.

Would it not have been better to advertise on here, so more people know about it?

2:00 PM start I think it was.

Yeah MMA, Thai and Boxing sparring between different gyms.

Though when I say sparring, almost every time I've competed some dude tries to take my head clean off. I suppose it looks more interesting to spectators, when that happens though.

Maybe its the fact that I look like Ron Weasley, that people want to take my head off.

Open to all gyms and teams.

Interclub will have MMA, Muay Thai and Boxing Interclub level sparring, supervised and controlled by a referee.

Not sure you're allowed James, it's usually for novices.

You don't want to be a one trick pony with no striking do you?
Or maybe you have a striking back ground?

The Grip turned me from a one trick pony with some striking, into a jack of all trades.

    First I've heard.

Is it not open to all, and you get matched to someone as close as possible to your weight and skill level?

The interclub format is for guys with little or no real competitive experience, to see what it's like to compete in a friendly but competitive spar with others of similar background I think - not much use for someone with experience fighting as a pro.

Thats what I am. I'm not going to do no-gi or mma. I tried them but I really only enjoy rolling with the gi.
