Whoa TV have now abandoned that twitter account and started a new one from scratch following the backlash - it's @WhoaTube for those interested.

The podcast was excellent and I must confess it was the first one I had listened to but I will listen to all the future ones (after Joe Rogans of course).

Ben was spot on with what he said but I think he was very unfair to Whoatv in singling them out when as foolish/dishonest or whatever you want to call them as they were they are amongst many many others.
PR companies are advising people to buy twitter fans and even Jimi Manuwa, Tom Watson , Jon Bones Jones and the UFC have done it.

It is not right but I understand why they would seek to "catch up" with the ongoing trend to enable them to get the same advantages as many many others. ( I cant type that without thinking about police academy LULZ)

The FRMMA podcast gets better all the time what appeals to me is it isn't really aimed at the casual MMA fan its very much focussed on the domestic scene and up and coming fighters which is great for the fans who attend the local shows week in, week out.
The Joe Rogan experience podcast is the best out there at the moment I don't miss any. I don't always agree with everything on there but the range of interesting guests on the show is what makes it a success, along with Rogans enthusiasm (and Redbans wierdness!)

They could of just blocked all the eggs on their original account? they had just under 3,000 followers on their Whoatv account even before they bought all the followers.

They could have done that if changing the account to a new one was entirely their decision.

    I've got no idea.

As Bakedbean said they're not the only ones but the Twitter followers thing is just one part it for me hence why I went on the podcast.

I jokingly called it 'Twittergate' because most people had heard about that. It was only when I looked into the Youtube channel/I Tunes reviews that I realised it was a dangerous situation and one I didn't really agree with.

I think you uncovered a rather greedy scenario where somebody had been told or discovered numerous ways in which they could get ahead and akin to the child who works out how to climb up and get the cookies themselves for the first time they ate them all and know they are sick.

    Nice work indeed Ben!

In many ways this topic is very similar to the steroid argument in that the practice is not illegal here but we all know it is deceptive/wrong and gives an unfair advantage..

So if you know/suspect allot of others doing it, what do you do?

Regardless of the decision you make if it is wrong at some point you must be prepared for the #fightthebullshit movement to catch up with you and tell the world of your foolishness.
