Default Mir vs Cormier - Cormiers last SF fight.

Where does this leave Mir after Cormier smashes him....

Also does it warrant Cormier a straight crack at Dos Santos?

This does not end well for Mir.......

Mir is the HW gate keeper and will be in that role for a number of years.

No he hasn't been cut, they're rating Cormier around 4-6 in the World, technically Mir currently operates within that area, they needed to bring someone over from the UFC as SF has nobody, after this fight Cormier will go to the UFC, however nothing has been said regarding the outcome, if Cormier wins, beating the previous number one contender should warrant him a Champion vs Champion fight, if he loses, Mir gets another title contender match and Cormier goes back to the drawing board or fights a can maybe to get him back to winning ways?

And I think if Cain beats JDS is a factor.

If Cain beats JDS then Cormier won't get the next shot - I think Reem gets the next shot anyway.

If JDS if able to add Cormier, Reem and Cain again to his win list then in my eyes he has just re-set the bar within the HW division.

Carwin - Cain - Mir - Cain - Reem - Cormier would be 6 top ten HWs beaten in row.

The current record is 3 held by both Fedor and Lesnar.

Then you ask the question if Cain wins, it'll be JDS who'll get an instant return bout activating the clause as Champion and completing the trilogy. I don't think Overeem deserves to be held in the same breath as any of the above and the UFC title, he's a cheat, shit loads has happened and will happen whilst he's been out so I think he should have to fight to get the title shot, maybe against Cormier... But yeah I suppose it will depend on the outcome of JDS vs Cain and Cormier vs Mir.

If JDS goes on to beat Cain again, Overeem, Cormier and Carwin if he gets back in the mix then he will rightfully be declared the greatest HW in MMA History fuck the long list Fedor has the guys IMO at the time he fought them aren't the same as those guys.

It's the fact that they are back to back that will make JDS the greatest ever.

Doesn't look good for Mir, but if he can get it to the ground, then he can submit anyone. Getting it to the ground won't be easy though against an Olympic level wrestler.

I don't see why Mir gets another title contenders match if he won, that's saying 2 wins and he gets another shot after getting completely outclassed and battered very recently. Think Mir is very much on the downslide now and should be at least 3-4 good wins away from another shot. Think Cormier should win at least one fight in the UFC before getting the shot too.
JDS is the don though and will hopefully prove to be the best p4p heavyweight of all time, a great guy and fantastic ambassador for the sport.
