Referee and Judge with MMA Officials.
Good news to hell with sky stay with ESPN please
Joey Essex is my hero, he's Reem.
ESPN are crap but it's still great value compared to the PPV stuff that Sky would bring in.
They wouldnt put it straight to PPV
Sky are very good at building sports up
Look at some of the minor sports they show and how they promote them accross multi-platforms
The best deal for UFC to grow in this country is terrestrial TV or Sky Sports with TUF being on Sky One
But UFC have gone with the highest bidder
Although after August 2013 ESPN ratings will die now they havent got any of the football so im guessing that why UFC have only opted for a one year deal this time
Bugger - better renew my subscription then

Personally I'm pleased as generally ESPN do a decent job at a decent price.
Would have liked it though if they'd gone for the Prelim shows & also picking up Strikeforce as well, but the deal only seems to be for the UFC main shows.
Can't see how people are defending the idea of UFC on Sky Sports though.
The two comparable sports are boxing & WWE.
Boxing nowadays if a strong card is PPV, thats if it isn't on one of the several Boxing Channels which involve another subscription on top of what is paid for Sky itself.
And WWE have most of their big events that are PPV in USA on PPV over here as well.
Originally with both sports it was only a couple of big shows on PPV but as soon as it was shown that people will pay that changed quickly.
If sky ever get UFC it will be on PPV, they've only ever shown one UFC PPV before & oh yeah that was on PPV. Dana has spoken repeatedly about how hard it is with the UK TV culture & wopuld presumably love to be on PPV on here eventually.
As several months there are two PPV cards we'll be looking at paying between £15-30 a month, ESPN looking better to some people yet?
ESPN is still free as part of our Virgin Media package, so suits me fine!
Y'all keep safe & be lucky.
Gerry.
Eric's fine with this.
Least Eric does'nt have to look for another package to get the UFC on TV ...
Eric's happy & the good lady's happy !!
