I thought you were getting out struck standing,
    Brian landed 4 strikes standing

    taken down at will,
took kris down 3 times, so will give you that

and having a hard time off your back.
kris got struck to the head 7 times in 2 rounds and none of the shots caused damage of any sort
Kris totally controlled the fight off his back which is very rare in Pro mma

    Nice armbar though...
    Agree 100%

Looked like 8/9 standing strikes landing in the first to me.
He has an active guard - totally controlled the fight? Not IMO.
Not getting into a stupid argument about this - only posted in the first place in response to the ridiculous comment about never being under threat.

    wasnt a rediculous comment
please tell me at what point during the fight that Kris was in any sort of trouble and i will gladly admit it is a silly comment

I was in there fighting mate if i was troubled i would be the first to admit ( any person that as ever met me would agree, theres no big deal in sayin u get into trouble or hard stages during a fight) but i honestly wasnt thats why i wrote it, i just think i touched a nerv coz your scottish buddy didnt come out on top, im not getting into a silly row either, hyslop lasted 6 an half minutes FACT, and after the fight we had a few beers an watched ufc :-)

it was a close fight. you got a nice arm bar at the end. im curiouse as to what your corner men had to say after the 1st round... coz it was a clear round up to hissy. fair enough it didnt go to the judges but you must have been thinkin that you need to stop playing guard coz if it goes to the judges 9/10 the guy who spent the fight on his back loses?

    good fight tho

I knew it wasnt going the distance after that first round, if i didnt cross my legs in the first round there would of been a strong chance i would of finished the first armbar, i didnt really want to be in guard mate i went for TD to get top postion and to go for the tko/ko but brian reversed nicely so i ended up in my guard just had to deal with it an work from there, he couldnt do nothing from there either, im
Not getting into a war of words i do it, if people think it was close or not thats there opinon i won an thats what i set out to do, in whatever fashion its mma a fight will end up anywhere!! Im just standing by my word of saying i wasnt troubled and was happy with my debut at flyweight, which i didnt think was out of order or silly?? And it was only 1round gone so going the distance hadnt entered my mind at that point, u look to finish all the way, i landed more strikes an done more damage an won end of dont matter if i was on top on bottom or wherever, if someone cant handle u when there in your guard y would u think aww likes get out of here because of the judges i knew i had two rounds left to finish him an was confident i would because is ground felt weaker than mine, im
Not being a dick i just stated i was happy obviously u guys are not because your blue eyed boy had a wake up call there will be plenty more fights to show skills in other areas,

Hyslop had great take downs but unfortunately they took him into an area that he was outclassed. Great performance from Edwards, looks like a very well rounded fighter. Next stop fine tuning with take -down defence, then the boy is ready for the UFC.
