Default UK MMA Matches to Make: Lightweight Division

For this round of bouts we put the spotlight on the lightweight division. Ricky Wright wants to see his good friend square off against a UFC veteran, Darren Rees is looking for a rematch between a current UFC star and surely a man who is destined for the big stage sooner or later. They may have trained together at Kaobon but this is a fantasy match after all so I壇 definitely love to see it go down inside the Octagon! I知 going for a bout between, in my mind, a future Cage Warriors champion and a former UCMMA champion! Who are all of these men I hint towards? Read on and find out!

Ricky Wright: For this round of bouts I知 afraid I had to be a little bit biased. When Wickett asked me to choose a lightweight fight I could not put pen to paper without scribbling the name Lewis Long. Two reasons:......

Made me chuckle that bit, 'may be biased', I thought they were already! ha ha

Other than that pretty decent match-ups.

Why don't you enlist some others for this but spread it around the UK? that way people can still be a little 'biased' but it wouldn't matter so much if there were, say, 6 people doing it.

I like the way you think my good man and i'm always open to ideas and improving things. I will take on another two opinions from the Welterweight division onwards. It's a lot of fun doing this, I had so many matches in my head but settled for Duffy vs. Pastou as i'd love to see that go down!

The first one is a missmatch at this moment in time & the second is never going to happen as Sinlair and Sass are friends and team mates these days... last one would be good tho!

Only a missmatch on paper and that's something I mention in the article how Warburton is ranked far higher than Lew. But Lew wants big fights and to be tested.

this, id like to see a much broader perspective, also hate the way the article is laid out, look every month at it and then always regret it as i have to scroll right through it to get the matches.

Lol no. I'm saying you could be Wales version of Ariel the knob head. I refuse to call him by his real name. Even though he is a fantastic journo.
