Expected the team Titan guys to run through the Aussies
The really interesting part was the sprint training on the treadmill. 1.15 mins at incline 15 and 12.9 kph. How many intervals of this did they do? how long was the rest.
I think the Luke Newman fight proved why you need experience before stepping up to any sort of international level. Luke probably has more skills than that guy but the level of his competition to date made him to reckless and confidant that he was just going to roll another guy over imo
Episode 5 recap and results here.
The guys that lost will get a chance to go and build more experience and likely be told by the UFC to build themselves back up. Whether it comes in the form of tough domestic/Euro fights etc. will remain to be seen, but it's definitely too early for some to be in the UFC. A couple of years and more fights and they'll be in a much better position hopefully.
Can't wait for tonights episode
Brendan looked brilliant.
I thought Brendan had screwed it up when he went for that heel hook but fair play to him for not letting his foe have any breathing room in the second.
16-bit for life
Yeah, smothered him in the second.
personally think the british lads have been the better fighter in all the fights, even the early KO he'd rocked the convict first. the two other losses have both come after the brit had won the first round (or was winning) only to get caught, frustrating but i think the brits who've won have looked quite comprehensive. hopefully our one remaining WW can get to the finale.
was hoping one of the titan lads would fight the aussie replacement for that replacement place in the semis.
