Default UK MMA Fights To Watch This Weekend; On Top, CSFC, UCMMA

So many great fights and shows around the country this month that the Super Six just wouldn't cut it! What we're going to do is a weekly round-up of our picks regarding the fights to watch.

This weekend starts with some interesting battles in Yorkshire, Scotland and London -CSFC 3, On Top 6 and UCMMA 30.

One in sunny Doncaster to whet your appetites:

    Saul Rogers vs. Louis Chapman
CSFC 3, The Dome, Doncaster. October 6th

Doncaster's CSFC promote their third event at The Dome, with five professional MMA contests and a total of sixteen fights. Putting in strong efforts for their first two outings, CSFC are continuing to build and have sold out the 1500 capacity.

You have the likes of local favourites Wayne Murrie and Scott Askham on the bill, but it is a featherweight contest between two rising young stars that is our top pick. Saul Rogers (5-0) and Louis Chapman (4-1) are both exciting prospects that meet at a key time in their fledgling careers.

With a career best win last time out against tough Scot David Galbraith, Chapman added another TKO stoppage to his resume and will come into the bout knowing he has faced tough tests already. He showed an improved wrestling game to add to his solid hands.

Rogers took home the Fight UK title in beating Martin Sheridan with a flawless performance in Leicester before finishing Mark Ryder early in his last bout. Five wins and four submissions to his credit, Rogers shows a constant evolution that has many talking.

This is going to be a tough battle - expect it to be fast-paced with neither man will bowing out early.
