'I really loved the fighting, and the extreme cage they use. Its just so extreme and awesome. '
Cona needs someone to take control of his fighting career.
getting ko'd within short spaces of time is so dumb its unreal. You are not a warrior to me I see no honour or warrior spirit in being a vegetable in front of your kids or family in years time. Thats the thing you might feel ok now but in 10 20 years you are going to pay for this
sooner or later one of these guys getting regularly ko'd is gonna die. No doubt in my mind this is just a matter of time
promoters should be ashamed, how can you sleep at night.
just to edit I have no problem with Journeymen essential part of combat sports really and people are quick to point at boxing. But the things is people don't get knocked out 2 or 3 times a month in boxing
Someone has. I spoke to his manager on Facebook a week or so ago. I mentioned on a post the fact that he'd been KO'd at UCMMA, was fighting at UWC two weeks later and was lined up to face Facey at the next UCMMA. A guy claiming to be his new manager chimed in, saying that if he got his way, Andy wouldn't be taking the Facey fight.
Good to hear, or so I thought. According to the guys from Love2Fight who did the interview in this thread, Andy is still taking the fight though. In retrospect, the 'manager' was called 'West Ham Steve', so I'm not sure how much weight I should have put in his statement :-p
Fighting, writing and mood lighting.
He has a manager? I didn`t even think he had a coach.

Peter Buckley had 300 fights, lost 256 and was only knocked out 10 times and the vast majority of those were TKOs and were not consecutive. A journeyman may lose a lot of fights but they're nearly always talented defensively.
Kerpe = Journeyman
Persil = Doorman
16-bit for life
Kerpe is a savage. I understand your point though Ben, Peter Buckley earned a fortune being what really should be classed as a good level fighter who could literally hang with the big boys without taking a kicking. Andy Cona needs to take advice from someone and stick to it, being told when to fight.
