Such a shame. The man had heart but im sure he will get some sort of job within the UFC.

Wouldn't surprise me if he got a similar role to what Florian has. He will have a future as MMA show panalist too i would have thought.

Would be good to see him enter the HoF at some point too.

I was reading this this morning on MMA fighting, as it states many people regard that fight with Griffin as saving the sport, great heart, great spirit, great fighter. Wish him well.

Always been a big fan of Bonnars fighting style and durabillity, and am gutted he is retiring after the Silva fight. A final fight against Griffin would've been a fitting ending to a very good career.

Totally agree. IMHO a coaching gig opposite Griffin would have been the perfect full circle and would of made a lot more sense than the pairings we've seen over the past few seasons (faber/cruz excluded).

probably best for his long term health that he retires.

Not saying there aren't still fights I would want to see him in, but he has taken a lot of punishment over the years.
