I don't know whether it makes me macho or stupid but if you are fighting and you step into a fight knowing the restrictions - surely you know what to expect and if you don't like what is legal in a fight, then make a proper campaign against it. Is there any such petition going where you can sign up?

I'm all for damaging leg strikes and whatever else may injure an opponent - equally so, I would expect them to try the same.
Although I'm not an active fighter, I have fought and I enjoy fighting. I think this changes your perspective on the rules and what is/isn't dangerous - would anybody agree?
