    Currently in terms of brown belts I believe we have the following: -
    Jock Love
    Andy Callaghan (both BJJ Scotland)
    Arek Zinkiewicz (Immortals Gold Team)
    Mark Peltier (Paragon JJ but training over here just now at Carlson Gracie Rey Diogo)
    Ricky Gillon (Team Lagarto)

    May be other legit ones I'm not aware of, you could add Omar Rashid and Steven Mains to that list as both are Scottish but living down south
    Scotlands No. 1 Timekeeper also available as a BJJ/No Gi referee

    who was the first Scottish black belt??? the level is defiantly getting better, every comp the level is improving all the time.

    BJJ Scotland, hence why it says after Andy Callaghans name both BJJ Scotland, couldnt be bothered writing it twice

    what do instructors look for when grading? understanding of technique, how you fair vs people in your own belt level and the level above, competition results or all of the above?
