The commercialization off MMA and BJJ
As both sports grow so does the ammount of people trying to cash in, they range from blackbelts setting up affiliations with low ranking belts coaching. To small clubs springing up and advertising that they now teach cage fighting to the masses with no qualified coaches present. Should these clubs be vetted somehow? If so how do we approach this?.
just start your own one up , a bit cheaper
Don't really see the harm in it. Anybody with even a remote interest in the sports would be able to spot a poor quality set up from a mile away. If they're only wanting to do it to be able to tell all their friends that they're a big bad cagefighting mofo then they can receive all the shoddy training in the world and not actually get anywhere as a result - means less saturation in the decent quality gyms that way too.
What about when it comes to belts and grading? Do u still believe its ( ok ) then? How about the guys that are going from blue to brown because there pumping money into certain clubs.
