Taylor's coming off three wins since that loss. Phillips won't be fit until the new year. Same with several other contenders who have picked up injuries.

Taylor is a rough match for any of the CW middleweight division. In fact he's a tough match for anyone outside the top top level.

Think it was only an overly optimistic weight cut that stopped him taking the CW WW title. Apart from Grimaud at WW see only lost to Khalidov, Lombard, Leites, Heiron and Rockhold in his last 20. They're all super high level guys.
