What do you guys think about Soccer Kicks? I know it was a big debate at one point - that Mixed Martial Arts should allow any kind of strike anywhere on the mat, but surely this kick of KO reminds us why they are gone from 'most' promotions?
    I bet that huerta.

Possibly so but elbows can do it most things can its a very brave sport to take part in. Im speaking from a fans point of view here about the rules they would like for the mma i watch. I wouldn't last 5 minutes with them rules and im the first to admit it lol.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad that MMA has evolved.

But I do enjoy every once in a while throwing in an old school MMA event with vale tudo rules and enjoying the violence.

I think they have their place in certain promotions, but I'm glad that the promotions trying to push MMA as a 'sport' have got rid of them. I'm not against elbows or even knees to the head on the ground, but soccer kicks - when you consider just how hard you can kick a football - it's only a matter of time before someone gets made a vegetable or their neck broken or something.
