it's a bit out of context, but this thread will do - i think at UCMMA, i saw a real live pregnant woman. what was she fuckin thinking? like a magnet for rioters and bottle-throwers.

Try to put on solid cards with the best of local and national talent.

Gradually increase capacity over time once your brand is better known.

Build up a good relationship with anyone you come in contact with as a show with a good rep is important.

    Keep it affordable for fans.

Increase your overall social networking for the show/events - MMA Promotion/Fighter Management

what do you think makes it most effective? surely it can be done well, but it sounds like you can quite easily spend a lot of money without a great deal of success.
Good point. I think it's making sure that you publicise your event in the right way over a long enough period of time in places where you're likely to reach the target population but getting that right can be tricky. This is why I think the most successful new promotions are likely to be the ones that grow out of grass roots inter clubs which build up a reputation gradually via word of mouth, expanding their advertising as their promotion grows
Any opinions I express on this forum are entirely personal opinions and it should not be assumed that they reflect the official view of any organisations I am connected with
