He was falsely accusing people of cheating because they had the audacity to beat his students. The rules that have come in regarding entry state that Pro MMA fighters have to enter at blue. He was trying to protest about someone who has fought C-Class beating his guys, forgetting that what we term as C-Class is known as Amateur rules MMA in the USA, so therefore not covered under that rule.

He was then thoroughly clamped when it was pointed out that he entered a guy with at least 5 years experience (including pro MMA fights) into a beginners division at the British No Gi

Guys we need to stamp out these sandbaggers at whitebelt. Some of our guys with 4 months traihbg experience were up against pro Mma fighters and c class pro fighters at this level. This has to stop, I as an ex promoter will try to force this issue on future shows,

Cut and pasted, Darren Clarke makes a good point in a reply but I think it's all been deleted now.

C class is amateur mma and I don't think any pro fighters were actually competing at white belt.

probably because he knows he's in the wrong! Are there any rules that say if you have had a pro fight in mma you can't fight at white belt in the GI??? surely you can only fight at white if you are a white belt???

cheers I knew the judo rule but never knew they had made changes for mma.

yeah, there's a couple of other changes as well, takedown points no longer score automatically, position must be controlled for 3 seconds bringing it in line with sweeps and positional changes (previously if you landed your opponent flat on their back or side you got the points instantly)
