Wrestling to be dropped from Olympics!
Just spotted this on the BBC news feed.
its been part of the modern Olympics since 1896 but is to be dropped from the 2020 games to make way for a new sport.
Wrestling is now vying with baseball/softball, squash, karate, sport climbing, wakeboarding, wushu and roller sports for a place in the 2020 Games.*

Sad times. If you're wanting to include other sports, just fucking shoehorn 'em in! No need to drop something as solid as the wrestling. This is a "cunt's decision".

What a strange decision, I thought wrestling was such a strong aspect of the Olympics.
Obviously not as high profile & doesn't attract the sponsers.
Also what a fucked up list of "sports" to be competing against.

MMA, as much as I love it, would be a shockingly shit replacement for wrestling. If wrestling is not an Olympic sport, fuck everything, there are no Olympic sports at all.
