Didn't think it was a good performance, Newman kept trying to throw knees, and allowing the takedown, with that being said Scope couldn't do anything with it, Newman dropped him with the knee and was delivering some nice elbows!!! Seen refs stop for less but well done to Mitchell and Newman was sloppy, Scope took advantage.

Im talking about the fact he came back from shots that would of put away a lot of fighters. And the fact he showed his heart is massive.

Yes he showed great heart and got the win, but he won't be happy gassing bad, and got dealt with standing up big time.
Seems young so has that on his side, didn't live up to the super star hype though.

Props to Scope, he´s a young guy and it was a great finish when I thought he was about to be stopped. Newman just smelt blood and got a little careless just like on TUF. I think Scope would be wise to drop to lightweight. Newman is young himself and will come again.
