Alexei missed weight by 6.5lbs and no deal could be struck. Uche Ihiekwe now faces Stu Davies.

Hoping for a speedy recovery for Shay Walsh in the FW title fight. He lost via doctor stoppage due to a broken jaw he sustained in the first round, but he carried on and wouldn't quit. He had to be forced. It was really bad too, the doctor said worst he'd seen in twenty years of boxing and MMA. The guy is hard and tails and an absolute warrior, to use the cliched phrase (but genuinely mean it). I called the broken jaw on commentary in the first and inbetween rounds it was clear his jaw was cracked. I was hoping it would get stopped earlier for the sake of his health, but Shay actually came into the fight more despite it. Props to Fisher for a gnarly performance, big things coming for him. Beast.

Surely he could have made it by shaving his head? Would love to know what those dreads weigh!
