Default 1st time fighter looking for possible match up in 6mths

What would be the best organisations for a heavyweight mma fighter with no cage experience, fight for in terms of evenly matched up and looked after. Looking at october time!

A local one.get yourself to a credible gym (if your not already at one) and tell your coach your plans,he will find you the right show and matchup.

Naughtygoose. Thanks for the advice. Dont some fighters fight for themselves/not club, yet attend bjj/mma classes whenever they do?

They do,and that is an option but I wouldn't personally recommend it. You would be putting yourself at the mercy of a promoter who might be more interested in selling tickets than your safety or your development (although a lot of promoters aren't like that).if you put yourself in the hands of a coach and a gym, then they will care more about you than how many tickets are sold.i couldn't think of anything worse than stepping into a cage against someone with 10 times the experience and skillet than me,but it does happen.
    Hope this helps somewhat

    Best of luck getting matched

Just one tip maybe think about getting the best of both worlds just make it clear in a polite respectful way that he is your coach and someone else or you are your manager. Then you get the support of the club at fights and even get there advise on shows before you consider it and ultimately make the choice yourself.
