Did Jermaine Facey not weigh in over the weight though?, therefore, that would mean that it wasn't a title fight?

UK1 rules?... It's at the discretion of the promoter these dates mate. He could have been 2kg over, if the other fighter takes it in the UK it's law.

So in UK-1, if a fighter weighs in over the weight and it's a title fight then it can still be a title fight?. Sorry for my ignorance i'm only used to going to well run and organised shows so thought that it would have been standard. I realise that people can effectively do what they want without any governing body but assumed that with their long standing within UKMMA they would play along with the same philosophy?

Deleted some posts as i wasn't thinking earlier so apologies for that

IN MY OPINION - The reason why there is a lack of outrage about the UK-1 fight from 'MMA people' is that it's not an MMA fight.

MMA has established rules and norms that shows abide by, that's why the Grimshaw/Lee Title fight became a non-Title bout when Dave Lee didn't make weight. And if that didn't happen people like myself would of rightfully questioned it.

^ Didn't Grimshaw make weight and win?... Surely he'd have still taken home the strap because he made weight? or does it not work like that....

He was the Champion, so a non-title fight most probably suited him more. Plus he probably wnated to put old demons to rest anyway as it was a rematch.
