Floyd Mayweather vs Saul Alvarez - September 14th?
Mayweather is trying to get the fight...
...this is a fight i'd watch.
Sorry to bump this but Danny Garcia vs Lucas Matthysse has been added to this PPV now. Looking like a hell of a card. I'm a big fan of Matthysse, always exciting, should be a good 'un.
Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions has confirmed that Floyd Mayweather Jr will recieve a guaranteed $41.5 million for his fight against Saul Alvarez.
It is the highest guarantee ever in boxing, previous record was the $33 million paid to Evander Holyfield for his rematch with Mike Tyson.
isn't evander still skint somehow?
has he officially retired? it would be fun to see him fight Randy Couture in a K-1 match ha
This Canelo sounds like an absolute Monster - but if all his fights have been one-sided, never know how he will react to the frustration of boxing an artist like PBF
'Go read a fucking book, you piece of shit.'
Canelo is tailor made for mayweather imo! Very good fighter but I don't expect floyd to take any fight he might lose, his legacy means almost as much as the wedge he earns with every fight! He'll win this comfortably
It depends on if Floyd can keep Alvarez from getting in close. I think the way for Alvarez to win is to use his size advantage to lean and put pressure on Floyd and turning it into a scrappy fight.
If Alvarez tries to outbox Floyd, then Floyd will use his pimped up amateur style to land his punches and then roll his way out of any danger.
