Scandinavium - imo the Whiteford stoppage against Svensson was justified, however I agree Svensson is a worthy challenger to Alers and still considered a top european fighter, I just wasn't expecting him to get the shot ahead of Whiteford who beat him or Turner who has something like a 5-1 record on Cage Warriors, I'm sure it will be a cracking fight though and hopefully Whiteford/Turner can fight the winner.

Think the timing of the fight was against turner having fought couple weeks ago im sure the dnft would have wanted more time between his last fight and a title fight with such a worthy champion.

    Svennson stoppage is on here.

I actually think Martin could take the belt.
    Hopefully his cut goes ok.

Confirms my belief that you were 100%correct stopping that fight Rob.

Also Whiteford is a beast....furthermore he is "naw here tae fuck about."

You've got no choice but to stop that fight. There can't really have too many complaints about it.
Reminded me a bit of when Graham Turner stopped Nathan Beer.
If you throw enough hard shots then you make the decision for the official.
The only reason he looked like he was ok at the end was because he wasn't getting hit anymore.

Fight day is here !! Here's an interview with Jim Alers about tonight's fight and the problems he feels Svensson poses him.
