The journey blah, blah....
No sport attracts life stories, liike bjj. However I felt compelled to write something after tonight's class with Professor Kone in picturesque Walthamstow. In what was a real busy mat, he was translating each position via a Polish translator to a visiting purple belt from Warsaw. If that wasn't impressive enough, he was also translating physically every position so that our visually impaired blue belt could learn and grasp each positional nuance.
Fucking awesome, what other sport could allow different languages, sizes and disabilities to compete and learn..?
Apologies for the non specific kind of posting, but tonight was something else on my bjj.....erm...journey.
For fucks sake....
