im just trying to see how you see him winning, you must have an idea of how he will be successful in the fight?? Most people say why they think something and how they come to that conclusion.
If you didn't see it with your own eyes, or hear it with your own ears, don't invent it with your small mind and share it with your big mouth!

Ray's had a nice bit of time between fights now to improve which should help him. I thought ray should have finished warburton when he took his back and there seemed to be a cardio issue which doesn't bode we'll in a tournament structure. I'm hoping he comes in and really makes a statement though, Scotland needs a star.

Stevie didn't have the best preparation for the Warburton fight as things were rushed going to Canada and the training that time around wasnt nearly as good as this time. He went for longer this time, done more training, sparring and personal sessions with their trainers and will have more time back in the UK now with the Dinky Ninja's to go over gameplans etc. He doesn't have any Cardio issues whatsoever plus there is a break in between so it's not as though he will fight 8 solid rounds.

We are looking forward to this event alot

So would you say that it was a mistake going to Canada the first time? Who was behind the decision to do so and why were the issues not foreseen? In what way was the training better than the last time, is it a case of Tristar knowing ray better or are they less occupied with other fighters training camps this time?

I wouldn't say it was a mistake that he went just that he was only able to spend 3 weeks there and he couldn't get into the Dorms as they were full and GSP was in full fight camp for Nick Diaz (he went in Feb and GSP's fight was in March). The trainers were focusing on GSP yeah so he didn't get much specialised training in. It was a Management choice and Steven was eager to go.

This time round he had 6 weeks there in the Dorms and has been sparring with all their UFC guys (even drilled with GSP) and had much more assistance with the trainers and extra paid for PT's etc. This time aswell there were guys in fight camp for this weeks UFC including Mike Ricci, John Makdessi and Mark Bocek (think he's out injured now though?) so he managed to get in on alot of training.

The tourny obviously has a wealth of talent. Each guy is good and will be tough to finish as if you look there are not many "finishing" losses on the records of the fighters (most of Steven's were at WW).

All being good between now and fight night then we feel that he has all the tools to win that belt
