Over the next ten years, and after being involved in hundreds of brutal and bloody fights that left two of my friends murdered and many more in prison, previously a bullied 11 stone youth turned into a fearsome fighting machine with an unparalleled reputation as a knockout specialist. Seduced by beautiful women, attacked by maniacs with knives, guns (and a pair of garden shears), chased and locked up by the police and sought after by top establishments to 'clean up' their clubs, i reached the top of my trade and became addicted to violence.

Then it all changed. After being stabbed, glassed and nearly killed in a gang attack, and almost killing one of my attackers in a savage car park match-fight, i was forced to reassess my relationship with violence. After writing down my experiences in an effort to exorcise his demons, Idiscovered a flair for writing. Within a few short years my work found a cult following all over the world.

I faced my fears and took mysefg from bedsit to bestseller but very nearly got killed on the way. I made violence my profession working as a dooman at some of Britain's roughest clubs. As the holder of the rank of 6th Dan black belt in Japanese karate, 1st Dan in Judo and equally well qualified in other martial arts i am a Tough man.

This thread has gone abut silly stories of what I did as a doormen is childish and the reason the job gets bad press, being a doormen is on of the worst jobs going in my opinion, on a number of levels, let alone giving it air time on what chokes where used on pissed up punters.

I would say the job has a bad enough reputation as it is. Some blood thirsty kage fytin fans ain't gonna make it any worse.

Yes you have every right to talk about it, but in m opinion it just doesn't come across very well, brings up the image of uneducated guys talking about how hard they are, and involving inflicting pain on people deserved or not.
