Default With all the hacking/dodgy links on this site, have login details been stolen?

Could be coincidence, but I've just recently had my old Apple account hacked. Luckily it has no current bank account details linked to it so it didn't matter, but still has meant changing a few of my other logins.

    Anyone else had similar recently?

to be fair, I have been guessing people's passwords and listing the ones which work since 2008.

anyone having trouble with their account, chances are I can re-set your password for you - just let me know

If you type in your password in a post, it gets edited out automatically.

    Try it. Here's mine:

I had an account frozen through a hacking attempt last week so I'm assuming the answer is "yes".

Some people use the same passwords or variations of them across multiple websites. If they have your cage warriors email and password they will try it in other places. It doesn't matter what AV software you have.

Nothing. I don't go on dodgy websites, don't open email links etc... never had a problem with any of my computers.

    Interesting. Looks likely then.

I use individual passwords for important stuff and then a shared password for all the pointless crap (forums mainly). The Apple account was really old and I'd forgotten all about it still using the same password.
