I support all the British lads and even Ireland id like to correct my wording and say Quickest route to a champion as to not disrespect anybody.

There is also the Pearson rematch on that card hopefully so its shaping up very nicely and as long as Gus does not try turn in to a wrestler it could very well be a good day at the office for the UK hardcore.

    Wow,

Big step up for Jimi, Goes without saying its his biggest test. But im excited to see how he does.

“Gustafsson is a big test for me, but that’s what I’m in the UFC for,” Manuwa said in a statement. “He’s coming off an incredibly close loss to Jon Jones, but I feel I have the power to stop him. This is what I’ve been training so hard for and I can’t wait until March 8 in London.”

I get the feeling that the UFC are basically aiming to derail the Manuwa hype train. Poor form.

This is a huge step up BUT it is an ideal opponent for Manuwa IMO.

On paper Gus is a huge favourite but style wise this is a horrendous fight for him IMO.

He will not SUB Manuwa he will not KO Manuwa so whilst he is outscoring him he will have to avoid getting KTFO which is a very real possibility for anybody fighting Manuwa.

So yes the odds will rightfully be heavily in favour of Gus but I dont think it is as big a step up as many believe.

I think somebody like Ryan Bader for example would have been a much harder match up for Manuwa than Gus.

    I disagree,

I think UFC have a undefeated British fighter for a main event in London so it makes business sense.

Its also win win for Jimi as no one is expecting him to beat Gus
