The only thing I agree with is having headguards. The article is dog shit, the guy writing it doesn't know anything about mma. That kid is in crazy shape, I shouldn't be put to shame by a child.
The usual level of Daily Mail reporting... shite.
However, you know for a fact that there are fat, useless parents out there pushing their kids to fight because they've never achieved anything themselves. I don't think really young kids should be in a usual MMA environment (cage, adult crowd, ring girls etc...). It's not something I'd allow my boy to be involved in. The pankration style events they mention are much better, like the Grapple & Strike sort of events held around the UK.
