When it happens and if/when she gets signed, I think Calderwood goes to the top of the list for the first potential British UFC champ surely.

the last thing the UFC really needs to do right now is add more weight classes. Some of the divisions are so shallow as is.

115 is maybe the strongest division in woman's MMA.

Using 115 also allows 105s to come up and 125s to drop

    Makes sense

Yeah that makes sense as you do 125lbs and a load from 135lbs will want to drop so it means they have 2 shallow divisions as opposed to 2 busy ones.

There's a good load of 115lber's out there, not all with Marketing appeal but females like Jo and Felice are very Marketable

    Let's throw out some names

Jessica Aguilar, Joanne Calderwood, Carla Esparza, that Finnish girl Joanne is about to fight (Katja something), Felice Herrig.

Maybe get Michelle Waterson to move up. And not sure what 125 pounders would move down.

It wouldnt surprise me if UFC went and purchased Invicta for that purpose. This thing is they could take all the best women and bring in new talent but could they really finance bringing the relatively inexperienced fighters over from Europe (for example). They wouldnt have much leverage with TV deals and filling the events if people knew that it was a middle of the road Womens show as opposed to the world's best. If the UFC didn't buy them but they had an understanding/arrangement then some kind of financial incentive would have to be given like $xxxx for each person signed up or a % over the course of the proposed fights left on their contacts
