I lived over there for about 8 and a half years. Got to go to a lot of the 2Hot 2Handle, RINGS Holland, It's Showtime etc shows. 'Worked' at a couple of them handing out flyers for a free ticket :-p

I think it was the first Schrijber/Manhoef fight, there was a mini-riot in the crowd and they halted the fight and gave Bob the mic. He yelled at everyone to sit down and they got back down to business :-p

No idea about that particular show, but a lot of the Dutch shows were run quite 'fast and loose' back then with regards to medics, rules etc...as I guess there were in most places in the late 90's/early 00's.

Not nearly as well as I did when I was there. Moved back to the UK about 7 years ago and only been back a handful of times so I've no cause to speak it except to say vile things to my Dutch mates in public and not feel bad about it :-p

Holland is an awesome place to live, and most of it is nothing like Amsterdam...which after a few years is a good thing!

However I don't see how threatening some prat who's saying nasty things about you on the internet is justified either. Furthermore, last time I checked, threatening behaviour was a criminal offence so anyone who threatens a troll is taking huge risks with their own liberty while the person provoking them may not technically have done anything illegal.

Great post Sir. If they can not accept criticism they should not be on the internet.

"Stupid things said by MMA fighters on twitter" as a book would be a New York Times Best Seller.

1000 pages easily. Maybe even multiple volumes.

Anyone who gets angry from something they read online is unhinged.
