2014 will be a good year for russian mma-fighters
Khabib Nurmagomedov (top 5 ranked in UFC)
Adlan Amagov (brutal welterweight with awesome kicks)
Omari Akhmedov (made a nice tko debute and won the FOTN)
Rustam Khabilov (top 10 ranked who won his debute by a slam)
Ali Bagautinov (two wins in a row and are one fight away from a titleshot in flyweight)
Other russians that are waiting for their debute
Adam Khaliev (won the ko of the year 2011 with a tornado kick)
Zubair Tuhugov (fought in cagewarriors, make a nice spinning back kick win in Fight Nights)
Rashid Magomedov (top ranked ww in europe , former M-1 champion)
Albert Tumenov ( 21-years old welterweight who defeated Yasubey Enomoto by tko)
Gasan Umalatov (an another welterweight)
Alexey Oleinik (best grappler in heavyweight division after Fabricio Werdum)
So in short there is five dangerous welterweight fighters now in UFC that will not win a fight by decision, fighters from the rest of europe in that division will might have a nightmare, 2014 will be interesting year and i will not be surprised that Ali and Khabib will fight for the title.
What they all have in common is that they are from dagestan, chechnya and astrakhan, no slavic russian fighter yet, we always see them in Bellator by many reasons. Only Alexey Oleinik is a slavic fighter
Will Gunnar Nelson handle Omari Akhmedov you think?
