But we're not talking about them, we're talking about Rousey who in the division is a class above everyone else.

Mayweather in a boxing match would kill her. In an MMA fight he could land the punches & stop her but likely it would be a takedown followed by some punches & then an armbar for the quick tap.

Rousey certainly has the strength to do this & anyone doubting it is deluded. Rousey isn't just some girl, she's an olympic medalist who has been training in MMA for several years & is a beast.

First Cain then it was Mayweather who next Batman? Cant wait until Cyborg gives her the test of her Career and whoever wins wins.

So Mayweather with 12 weeks of sprawl could defend any takedown? Fuckign retarded argument, simply put - please explain how people still get taken down in MMA then if a complete novice of the sport could train for 12 weeks and stuff takedowns with ease?

In their own sport they woudl be king, simple, otherwise what? Mayweather is superhuman and with a few weeks training could piss over Bolt in a sprint? Just needs to learn how to get out of the blocks? Maybe he could train for 12 weeks doing backflips and shit and be an olympic diver as well?

Mayweather doesnt KO everyone he hits with the first punch, Rousey has a fucktonne of experience of taking people down...
How come Toney didnt KO Couture? Surely he did the obligatory 12 week sprawl training plan?
Sig awaiting witty quote from someone.

Why do people think boxers will automatically KO MMA fighters when they can't KO each other with one punch?
There is a big difference from the guys he's trying to hit in boxing and hitting ronda, I say if ronda goes in with the entries she tries in mma she gets her clock cleaned.

Depends who you are training with and how they bring you along, with the money mayweather has got, he could bring in some monsters and in 12 months ronda ain't getting him down pulling guard and attempting an armbar from the bottom would be the only option.

12 months is different to 12 weeks and even then, its a lifetime of experience against 12 months which includes trying to unlearn a lifetime of footwork and stances...Plus, again, Ronda has fought some okay competition who have had more than 12 months training in MMA and they knew what was coming and still couldnt stop it. Dont get me wrong, Floyd is the king of what he does, its just a whole different world and regardless of how good an athlete he is, no money can buy the lifetime of experience an MMA fighter would have against him.

Not sure what the Cain reference is about???

But a boxer out of his element would be lost in an MMA fight. Have people not learned anything since the early days of MMA?

Regardless of how good Mayweather is (and for the record I think he's great) he'd have no answer once he's on his back. I'm not saying Rousey is unbeatable, but she certainly has the skills to take down a boxer & beat him in an MMA fight.

All floyd would have to do is bring in some top level wrestlers, have them drill with him solid for 12 months, up against the cage avoiding the clinch and ronda is getting knocked out, a female with very limited boxing skill against possibly the greatest technical boxer of all time, he get one combo off in mma gloves and she'll be out like a light. As for her competition, firstly they are women, no offence to ladies out there but there is a big difference between male and female fighters, the movement, the power etc, secondly there are plenty of mma fighters out there with years of experience who can't wrestle for shit.

Ronda claimed under the right circumstances she could beat cain, the right circumstances is her holding a shotgun and cain standing a 5-10 metres away before they start.

Yea I would say in 12+ weeks you could have a Athlete like him defending all kinds of take downs not clinch though as that's where She is Boss. You make it sound like Sprawling to defend a shoot is the hardest thing in the world when it is not for a Guy like that. He has perfect timing he has great reflexes he has great speed and a great fight brain so yea that's my argument. Put him in with GSP and its a whole different ball game.

If I am wrong then it wouldnt be the first time so no worrys.
