I tried to go and buy some humble pie but the shop was sold out. The Enty rollercoaster keeps on adding new twists. Surely to fuck he won't miss weight this time?
    Fuck no-gi

I think fair play to him he's gone out and got what he wants by whatever means necessary but I thinkit just makes a mockery of being professional in the sport, miss weight over and over, hand pick your opponents and pretty much mouth off all over the internet and it doesn't matter you'll still get signed. Wonder what this will start.

Looks like he'll be fighting at lightweight (he's fighting a guy who has only competed at LW, so it'll be LW or FW) so hopefully it won't be a problem...

What makes it more interesting is it's a guy that fights out of Tiger Muay Thai (although not full-time), and Enty is at Phuket Top Team. They've got a rivalry going on as they are a stone's throw away from one another. There's been some pretty savage stories I've heard about the rivalry, and to do it in a UFC fight will be full of bragging rights! And no doubt pre-fight there'll be some hustle. Should be fun.

Think I'm with the majority in thinking that Enty could really have done with a couple more fights to dispel the weight issues, but I also think we've yet to see the best from the lad. He's earned his place on highlight reels with *that* sub and there are few things that US MMA fans like more than the possibility of a vitriolic Brit getting punched in the face. I hope and believe he'll do well. Good luck!

I agree with this, I know that Ian has worked hard but I know people far more deserving of a UFC spot, they make weight every time, behave professionally, good record...

One thing to consider about Enty's record and people saying he needed to step up before the UFC, how many very average fighters have made it onto the UFC via TUF with lesser records than Enty.

Thing is, he will either sink or swim, his record won't matter if he does well.

Good luck to him, anyone who makes it onto the big show from the UK has done well and lets be honest, gonna be a lot of jealous fuckers about especially with it being Enty..

I am just hoping him and Chael get some beef......

Some of the guys they've signed up in Asia recently and what not aren't exactly high level, so by that measure Enty is well worthy of a shot. He generates interest and finishes his fights. People will tune in whether they want him to win or lose, and he's based in a good place for the Asia/Australasia events.

However, you can understand people thinking that there are more established, long-standing and reliable guys who never got the opportunity that are somewhat hard done by. As I said before though, you don't turn down the opportunity if it comes knocking and he can do what he needs to do in the Octagon. That'll be what shows whether he was ready or not, so good luck to him.
