Default MMA Unltd UK MMA Rankings | August

In the print edition of the magazine, we publish a list of UK MMA rankings every month as devised by a panel of independent advisors.

We've had various people help out with the rankings over time including David Lethaby, Lee Whitehead, Ian Dean, Martin Smith and the staff here at MMA Unltd. The outcry from UK MMA fans has led to the publishing of the rankings online and here are the consensus top tens, judged by opinions of performance, activity and past opponents by the panel.

As always, the rankings are published in the print edition of the magazine and the contributors can be found there.

Enjoy.

Karlos Vermola will be top 3 next year..

and its not untill you look at rankings like that, you notice how weak the LHW division is in UK.

Pickett Number 1.... come on Shelby, sign that pikey up

I agree, you have to look further a field in Europe for top draw LHW guys.

Just seems to be a weak division over here right now

Interesting having Kelly at no2 lightweight. Any idea on who his next fight is?

You can argue any of the top 4 TBH. But its safe to say based on performances Etim is No1 at the minute

I would also say that other than big Rob Broughton the HW division is poor at the moment as well.

The lighter guys will give anyone in Europe a run for their money.

You can't argue with the top 8 at LW. Although i'm not sure if Lawson is top 10 material though. I expect Stapes to be there next month !

Expect Tom Blackledge to be number 1 at LHW soon too. Great to see Rob Broughton at number 1 at HW too.

LHW / HW's really do struggle with depth though

Why no Bantamweight in the end Jay ?

Martin Thompson -6
James Thompson -7
Martin Thompson - 8

Must be cool to make the top 10 twice in one month

i prefer rankings that don't exclude an entire weight class, personally

Do you have a rule system? For example, how long does a fighter have to be inactive for before they are no longer eligible for the rankings?
