In his last fights he has fought some good up and coming fighters but I would say its been a while since he's had a fight that really excited him and had to really get up for.

I think when he fights on Ultimate Challenge/Cage Rage they match him up with mediocre opposition just to get him on the card as he's a popular guy and great to watch, but at this point in his career he needs the old cliché " Career Defining" fights that will put him at the top of the UK/European pecking order.

Just my opinion but fighting people below your level will never make you great
I think Dave Lee is just that old cliche. Dave is a ex UFC fighter, has been competing at a bigger weight, and has awesome BJJ.

With his last fights, I dont think wins against Harvey, Fernandez, Reed and Jazbutis are really a bad thing are they?? they are all top fighters, all respectedly ranked and all pose differents threats to Brad, infact any fighter. and he Finished them all apart from Paul Reed.

Fighting top names in Europe or the world isnt as easy as saying, "hey, I wanna fight that guy" otherwise Ashleigh Grimshaw would be fighting every Saturday and Sunday, and maybe on a wednesday too.

Brad would love to fight all the top guys, but its not always that easy, Promters cant always afford to put these fights on, Opponents may be busy with other things.

I think right now, the best thing for Brad is to keep busy, and keep wining. There are plenty of superfights to be had in the WEC.

Seconded.

I'm having to give rival promoters my contacts in order to get my guys the fights they need !

No I'm not saying these matches are a bad thing at all, and I know that putting together fights at the level Brad is fighting at is no easy task when you have to take into consideration timing, money etc. All I am saying is that to get noticed by the likes of WEC and the other top promotions, fighting and beating good names will gain you the most benefit.

The last thing you want to happen after working your way up the ladder is to fight someone who really does not motivate you train hard and does not create that genuine sense of fear and then to come in and loose. This type of scenario happens all the time in boxing and I have seen some great fighters loose to people who really were not in the same league as them.

Dave Lee is a good level of opposition for Brad, and it will be a great fight so hopefully this will move Brad a step closer to a big promotion and keep him on their radar.

I have every confidence in Brad making it into the WEC within the next 12 months.

Maybe Mike Brown can have it in his WEC contract that they have to sign Brad?
