Headlining the Cage Warriors: Battle Royale event on March 29th in Kissimmee, Florida, USA is a top Welterweight bout between Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy & Chad “The Grinder” Reiner. Already causing a stir on both sides of the pond, this fight is fast becoming one of the most talked about bouts for this, the inaugural event for the Cage Warriors in the USA.

Hardy (17-6-0-1nc) is one of Europe’s fastest up and coming fighters and has wowed audiences worldwide with his exhilarating fighting style and his never-say-die attitude which has already seen him defeat; Diego Gonzalez, Alexandre Izidro (twice), Daizo Ishige & Hidetaka Monma.

Reiner (17-3-0) returns to Florida looking to avoid going 0-3 in the Sunshine State after losing twice there last year at UFC Fight Night 8 & 10. Reiner has bounced back since then by racking up wins in quick succession against; Chilo Gonzalex, Marke Moreno and Stephane Dube and he intends to consolidate this at Battle Royale when he and his USA team mates face the UK.

Controversy over this fight began a few weeks ago when Reiner’s corners began barracking Hardy on Youtube and Myspace and our own Cage Warriors forum. Dan responded in true laconic form amid support from his Cage Warrior teammates and the UK MMA fan base alike.
